Funtington Flower Group
This Flower Group was started in 1986 with four intentions - To help Village Hall funds; to provide an interest not already covered in the Village; to hold meetings at a time to suit those with children at school; to cover costs, but not to make vast profits.
We are not a large group, and aim to be very informal and non-competitive, concentrating more on arrangements to enhance our homes than for exhibition purposes.
We have been fortunate in attracting some excellent Demonstrators to our meetings, and have enjoyed work mornings and teaching days.
We feel we have achieved the first intention of 1986, as we have donated £1850 to the Village hall, in addition to the rent we pay!
We hold six meetings a year, held in the Funtington and District Village Hall, at 10.00 am. on Tuesdays, to which all are welcome.
